Corsair M65 PRO RGB Gaming Mouse Review

What is the Corsair M65 Pro RGB?

The Corsair M65 Pro RGB gaming mouse is a flagship high-performance wired mouse designed for intensive gaming. It’s built around the new generation Corsair IR Motion sensor, developed in collaboration with PixArt, to deliver unrivaled precision and tracking speed. The sensor provides true 1-to-1 tracking at any DPI setting and has zero smoothing, filtering, or pixel rounding to deliver the absolute minimum latency. The mouse features nine programmable buttons that are housed in an ergonomic aluminum frame that has multiple handgrip options for maximum comfort.

Excellent craftsmanship, refined materials, and advanced technologies all come together to create the Corsair Gaming M65 Pro Mouse. A high-performance tracking sensor, ultra-lightweight materials, and eight programmable buttons deliver the precision and performance you need to take your game to the next level.

Our ambidextrous M65 PRO Gaming Mouse sports a professional-grade, ergonomic shape that’s designed to keep your hand comfortable even after hours of gameplay. It features a CUE-certified 11-button mechanical thumb wheel for incredible tactile feedback and multi-command functionality, so you can easily access your favorite macros. The high-accuracy sensor delivers pixel-perfect tracking, so your cursor moves exactly how you want it—without lag.

Ergonomic mice are a category all their own. Ergonomic mice try to mimic the natural positioning of your hand and arm when using a mouse. The M65 Pro features Corsair’s proprietary Airflow Control (AFC), which has ten small vents underneath the mouse. The vents allow air to pass through the mouse, keeping the palm of the hand cool.
The M65 Pro also features an adjustable palm rest, which allows you to position the mouse in the most comfortable way. The palm rest comes pre-assembled but can be removed and adjusted. The palm rest has rubber pads, which grip the mouse well and won’t move easily.
The shape of the mouse is ergonomic, as well. The mouse has a wide palm grip and slopes to a narrower thumb grip. While the mouse is shaped well, it is not perfect. The palm grip is too wide, and the mouse curves too much. The mouse is shaped more for right-handed users, and the palm grip is awkward for lefties.
The mouse has rubber pads on the bottom, which help the mouse grip your desk. The rubber pads are nice and grippy, but the mouse isn’t too sticky. Overall, the mouse is well designed.

The Corsair M65 Pro mouse combines advanced ergonomics and high-end features for a next-generation mouse. Accurate and responsive optical sensor, adjustable weight system, and easy-to-use configuration software.

The Corsair M65 Pro is a great mouse, but the price is a little steep for me. Still, it does have very nice build quality, good tracking performance, and amazing build-in macro keys with three different LED light brightness levels.

Overall Mouse Feel

Corsair’s M65 feels great in the hand. The back and sides are made from a rubber-like material that feels kind to your grip, and the sides have a rubber texture for added grip. It also fits nicely in the palm of your hand. It does not feel too heavy to lift up even when you’re using it for long periods of time, nor does it feel too light, like a toy.

This mouse does not use any type of receiver It is wireless and has 2.4GHz USB connectivity. The mouse was very simple to set up. Once the battery was installed and your battery that was supplied with it is charged you can plug it into your computer and go that simple, there is no need to install any software or anything this mouse connects right to a computer without the need for extra accessories or equipment.

CUE is the intelligent software that provides customized control of your Corsair RGB gaming mice, keyboards, and memory products. Made for those who play, and play hard.

The Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) software allows you to tailor the RGB and button illumination to reflect and complement your setup and style. With an almost infinite combination of lighting effects, colors, and styles available, CUE is the key to unlocking your full potential.

How to Stop Sniper Button on Corsair M65 Pro?

Set the Sniper Button to the same DPI as the other buttons, and everything will be just fine. Corsair could do a better job with the software and driver support, but until then, this is a decent mouse that has a nice feel and a good sensor.

Corsair M65 Pro RGB

My first experience with Corsair was with the M65, a gaming mouse that was rather expensive. It certainly was more expensive than the Logitech MX200, my mouse of preference at the time.

It was difficult to get my mouse hand used to the M65’s design, but after about 15 minutes of use, I reached a point where I was able to use the M65 without problems.
Because the M65 is so large, I have a small hand. As a result, I found the MX200, the M65’s predecessor, to be more comfortable to use. Yet, the M65’s design was superior in other aspects.

The M65’s mouse wheel has 16 directions, which is twice as many as the MX200’s wheel. It can scroll much faster than the MX200 and is more responsive as well.
The M65 has 7 buttons, while its predecessor, the M50, had 4 buttons. The extra buttons are especially useful, for example, for gaming.

Another feature of the M65 that sets it apart from the MX200 is its optical sensor. Optical sensors are generally more responsive, and sometimes more accurate than laser sensors. The M65’s optical sensor is more accurate.

The M65’s mouse wheel is unusually large. The Logitech MX200’s mouse wheel is 6.5 cm, while the M65’s wheel is 12 cm or about 4.5 times as large. The Logitech MX200’s wheel is 20 mm in diameter, while the M65’s wheel is 30 mm in diameter.

The M65 has a range of 4,200 DPI, meaning it can hit a mouse speed of 5,200 inches per second. This translates into 120 inches per second, which, when you combine that with the 13,000 CPI, means the M65 can track a speed of 132 inches per second. That’s one M65 faster than a G-mouse, and 66 inches per second faster than a Razer DeathAdder.

The M65 is a right-handed mouse, and Corsair has helpfully included a 360-degree scroll wheel, although considering its asking price, we’d have expected a 5,200 DPI optical sensor. The mouse’s weight is slightly heavier than some mice’s, but it’s comfortable enough, and there’s plenty of room in the mouse to use any mouse mat.

Corsair hasn’t skimped on the software, either. As well as the usual options, such as DPI and polling rate, the M65 supports dynamic lighting effects, RGB lighting, and, most impressively of all, a 200Hz polling rate. That’s 13,000 times a second, and 200 times per second faster than the average human eye can perceive.

The M65 supports Corsair’s Synapse software, which allows you to customize the RGB lighting color, and Corsair’s gaming software, MySleeve, which you can also download for free.

The Corsair M65 is my most trusted mouse for gaming. Here are the top 5 reasons why you should keep this gaming mouse in your pocket.

1) The mouse is reliable.
If you play games like me, you know that a mouse is something which needs to be used often. And often means every day. So, it’s very important that you choose the right mouse. The M65 has been in my hands for more than 2 years now and it’s still as good as new. See for yourself.

2) The mouse is ergonomic.
I used many mice before. The Corsair M65 is most comfortable mouse I’ve ever used. The mouse fits excellently in your hand and is light enough not to put force/pressure on your hands.

3) The mouse has a fantastic click feeling.
